Over-Receiving

This guide is only applicable to those organizations which have over-receiving enabled. If you would like to enable over-receiving for your organization, please reach out to customer support or to your implementation manager.

Over-receiving is a feature that allows warehouses to accept more inventory against a consignment than was originally expected.

If the actual number of products is more than the expected quantity, then associates would be able to receive that inventory into the system. This stock will remain in unverified stock until it has been verified by the admin.*

*The verification process is currently not handled by Hopstack. After verifying that the stock was expected to be sent, the warehouse admin will be able to perform the stock adjustment and either:

• Move it into inventory and make it available for fulfillment

• Discard the inventory
