Choosing a Client during Receiving

This is typically the first step of performing receiving in the Hopstack platform, and is going to be a common first step across multiple workflows*

In this screen, you will see a searchable dropdown component using which you can select a client.

In the prep center context, selecting a client means choosing the merchant for whom you are going to be performing receiving. Any and all inventory you will receive after choosing a client will be registered against the chosen merchant’s name.

In the 3PL context, if you only have one registered client, it means that you are receiving inventory in the warehouse. This step may not hold direct relational significance for you if there is only one (DEFAULT) client configured.
