Capturing Images of Damaged Items during the Receiving Workflow

This user help guide focuses on the process of documenting damaged items during the receiving workflow by capturing images. This feature is crucial for quality control, claims processing, and communication with clients or suppliers regarding the condition of received goods.

Accessing the Damage Reporting Feature

  1. Navigate to the Receiving Workflow: Select the receiving workflow for the consignment you are processing.

  2. Identify the Damaged SKU: As you scan the SKUs of the consignment, identify any items that appear damaged or compromised.

Marking an SKU as Damaged

  1. Select the Damaged Option: Upon identifying a damaged item, use the platform to select the option to mark the SKU as damaged.

  2. Enter Damage Details: Provide a brief description of the damage. This might include the type of damage (e.g., torn packaging, broken item) and its extent (e.g., minor, moderate, severe).

Capturing and Uploading Images of Damaged Items

  1. Initiate Image Capture: Click on the camera icon or the upload image option that appears after you've marked an SKU as damaged.

  2. Capture the Image: Ensure good lighting and focus on the damaged area of the item. Capture one or more images that document the damage.

  3. Upload the Image(s): After capturing the images, follow the prompts to upload them to the platform. Ensure that the images are correctly associated with the damaged SKU and the accompanying damage note
