When receiving products into the system, it is essential to ensure accurate data entry for each item and its components. This guide will walk you through the process of adding items and their various components such as Form Factor, Quantity, Condition, Expiry Date, Lot ID, Serial Number, and Pallet ID.

Receiving a Product
Access the Receiving Section:
Navigate to the "Receiving" section of the application.
Receive a Product:
Enter the product details as required. Ensure all mandatory fields are filled accurately.
Adding Items
After receiving a product, you have the option to add individual items with specific components. Follow these steps to add items effectively:
Add Item:
Click on the "Add Item" button to enter the details of each item received.
Fill in Item Components:
Form Factor: Specify the form factor of the item (e.g., bottle, box, etc.).
Each Quantity: Enter the quantity for each item.
Condition: Indicate the condition of the item (e.g., new, used, damaged, etc.).
Expiry Date: Provide the expiry date of the item, if applicable.
Lot ID: Enter the Lot ID associated with the item.
Serial Number: Input the serial number, if available.
Pallet ID: Specify the Pallet ID where the item is stored.
Example Scenario
Suppose you receive a batch of 10 products. These products may have different or similar attributes. For instance:
2 products have the same expiry date and lot ID.
The remaining 8 products have different expiry dates and lot IDs.
To accurately reflect this in the system:
Click "Add Item" and enter the details for the 2 products with the same expiry date and lot ID.
Click "Add Item" again and enter the details for each of the remaining 8 products with their respective expiry dates and lot IDs.
