Improved Manual Batching Process

Overview

In our ongoing efforts to enhance the user experience, we've made significant improvements to the manual order batching process. Users no longer need to wait for the batching process to complete before proceeding with other tasks and there are notifications providing real-time the status of the batching process.
This document guides how to navigate the updated batching process efficiently.

Step 1: Selecting Unprocessed Orders - In the order management screen, Select the orders to be batched.

Step 3: Review Batch Details - The create manual batch window appears where users can gain insights into fulfillable and unfulfillable orders, alongside the option to view splits for partially fulfillable ones (partial fulfilment is a gated feature, please contact your account manager to enable the Partial Fulfilment Feature). Access the detailed guide on Partial Fulfillment for further understanding, here. After review click on next to batch the fulfillable orders.

Step 4: Assigning the Batch: Upon clicking "Next" you'll have the choice to allocate the batch to a designated packing station or picker.

  • Select Picker: Direct the batch to a specific associate in the warehouse.

  • Select Packing Station: Designate the order for processing at a particular packing station post-picking.

  • Should you opt for system-driven assignment, leave the options unchanged.
