Here's how we're making partial fulfillment better for your customer product releases:
Tailored Fulfillment Options: Our platform allows you to customize partial fulfillment settings for specific customers and their integration channel partners. This flexibility enables you to adapt to varying fulfillment requirements and preferences seamlessly.
Granular Sub-Order Creation: With our improved system, you can effortlessly create sub-orders that are fulfillable, enabling you to manage inventory allocations and distribution more effectively. This granular approach ensures that each order can be processed efficiently, minimizing delays and optimizing fulfillment workflows.
Here's the process on creating Back Order for enabled customers for your reference:
Manual Batch Creation: You now have the ability to create manual batches of orders.
Preview Partial Fulfillment and Sub-Order Visualization: With our intuitive interface, you can preview whether a particular order can be partially fulfilled. Our system generates sub-orders to represent fulfillable and unfulfilled portions of each order. This feature provides valuable insights into order fulfillment possibilities before processing.

Informed Decision-Making: Armed with comprehensive information about each order, you can make informed decisions about whether to proceed with partially fulfillable orders. This ensures that you maintain control over the fulfillment process and prioritize customer satisfaction.

Viewing Batch Orders on Order Management: On marking the checkbox for the Partial Order, the process will be similar and a new batch will be created. The parent Order which has been partially fulfilled, will have an an indicator and clicking on the order ID, you should be able to view sub-order details.

Note: If you are enabled for a Back-Order or Partial Fulfilment, if an order does not have inventory available, the order will NOT move into Exceptions. The order will be NOT be batched and continue being in “Unprocessed” Status
View Audit Trails: As a user, you will be able to view the Audit Trails for parent and sub-orders that have been created which ensures accountability.

Note: Currently, you can only mark sub-orders with partial fulfillment as canceled or completed
As a user, you can seamlessly manage back orders with the same process as outbound orders. When creating a manual batch and selecting the parent order, quantities will be allocated to unfulfilled sub-orders - the process will remain consistent with the outbound orders.
