I cannot see the 'Inventory' (or any other) screen in my platform. How do I fix that?

Troubleshooting Visibility Issues on User Screens

There are instances when a user may not be able to view certain screens, such as the inventory or notification screen. In most cases, the root cause of this visibility issue is tied to their access permissions. If you encounter this problem, here's a step-by-step guide to resolve it:

  1. Navigate to the Setup Section: Begin by heading to the setup section of the platform.

  2. Access User Management: Within the setup section, locate the 'User Management' option. This is where all user profiles and roles are listed.

  3. Identify the Affected User (skip to Step 4 you already know the affected user): Enter the name or username of the individual who's experiencing the problem. This will help you pull up their user profile.

  4. Examine the User's Role: Once you have their profile on-screen, check the role assigned to this particular user in the ‘Roles’ tab on the same screen. The role defines what access rights they possess.

  5. Review Access Control Permissions: With the role identified, now inspect the access control permissions associated with it. These permissions determine what screens and features a user can access.

  6. Reset the Permissions: To ensure the permissions are set correctly, deselect all the checkboxes first, then reselect them. This action often refreshes the access granted to the role and resolves the glitch.

  7. Save and Refresh: After making the necessary adjustments, save all changes. Then, refresh your screen to ensure the modifications take effect.

  8. Guide the User: Request the customer or user experiencing the problem to reload their screen. This step ensures that the changes reflect on their end as well.

Once these steps are followed diligently, the previously inaccessible screens should be visible again.
