How to Find a SKU and Its Location

This document guides you through the process of finding a Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) and identifying its storage location(s).

By following these instructions, you can efficiently track down any SKU and pinpoint its exact location for inventory management, auditing, or retrieval purposes.

Method 1: SKU Bin Management

1. Navigate to SKU Bin Management: Begin by accessing the SKU Bin Management. This is designed specifically for managing and tracking SKU locations.

2. Search for the SKU: Use the search function to locate the SKU you are interested in. You can enter the SKU directly into the search bar.

3. View Location Mappings: Once the SKU is found, the system will display all associated mappings with their locations in a dedicated column. This view allows you to see every location where the SKU is stored.

Method 2: Ledger Search

1. Go to the Ledger: Access the ledger section of your inventory management system. The ledger provides a comprehensive record of all inventory movements and statuses.

2. Search for the SKU: Enter the SKU in the ledger's search function to find the relevant entry.

3. Access Storage Quantity Details: In the ledger entry for the SKU, click on the "Storage Qty" (Storage Quantity) to bring up detailed information about where the SKU is stored.

4. Click on Bin: Within the storage quantity details, find and click on the "Bin" option. This action will reveal all the locations where the SKU is present across your storage facilities.
