[Hardware] Zebra PDA Instructions

This guide will enable you to setup your Zebra PDA to work with the Hopstack platform app. The guide consists of the two main steps:

  • Set up the PDA profile

  • Install the Hopstack app

Step 1: Set up the PDA profile

  1. Start your Zebra PDA and unlock it to the home screen.

  2. Open DataWedge.

  • Swipe up from the bottom of your device screen to open the App Drawer.

  • Find and tap the DataWedge app.

  1. Select Your Profile

  • On the main DataWedge Profiles screen, select the profile you are using (usually Profile0, which is the default profile for general scanning).

  • Ensure the profile is enabled (the checkbox next to Profile enabled must be checked


  1. Enable Send Enter Key

  • Scroll down to the Keystroke Output section and ensure it is checked/enabled.

  • Tap on Basic data formatting.

  • Locate the Send ENTER key option and check the box to enable it.

  • Press the back button to exit the DataWedge application. The settings will save and apply automatically to all your scans

  1. Go back to the previous screen and exit the DataWedge app.

Step 2: Install the Hopstack App


  1. Download the Hopstack Mobile App via the Play Store.

  1. Install the app

  2. Tap Install and wait for the installation to finish.

  3. Open the “Hopstack” app.

  4. Update your domain

  1. Enter the credentials

  2. Tap Log In.
