Template Management
The Template Management feature in Hopstack allows you to create, customize, and manage notification templates across various categories like inbound, outbound, and order updates. These templates can be used for sending updates to consumers through channels like email.
🔹 Step 1: Access Template Management
Navigate to the Template Management section in the Setup panel.
You’ll see a list of existing templates already created for different categories and notification types.
🔹 Step 2: Create a New Template
To create a new template:
Click on “Create New.”
Fill in the following details:
Category: (e.g., Setup Notifications, Inbound Notifications, Outbound Notifications)
Subcategory: (e.g., Orders)
Notification Type: (e.g., Order Ship Status)
Template Type: Choose between Consumer or other options
Template Name: (e.g., Template One)
🔹 Step 3: Define Email Details
Delivery Channel: Select Email.
Subject Line: Customize the subject using variables.
Example:
Order Shipping Status - #OrderID
Click the variable to add more variables as needed (e.g., customer name, item name, etc.).
🔹 Step 4: Design the Template
Open the Template Content and click on Edit Template.
Inside the template:
Edit existing content.
Insert dynamic variables (e.g., order ID, shipping carrier).
Add your logo or branding elements.
Cancel line items if needed by using the available tools.
🔧 Some parts of the template may be fixed/stationary, but most of the layout and content is editable.
🔹 Step 5: Instructions (Optional)
You can see instructions or notes within the template, useful for you to edit the template accordingly.
🔹 Step 6: Save and Preview
Click Save and Apply once your template is ready.
Use the Undo or Reset buttons if needed to revert any changes.
Click Preview Template to verify the design and content.
If everything looks good, click Submit.
🔹 Step 7: Use the Template
After submitting:
Go to Notification Management → Consumer Notifications.
Choose your category and notification type (e.g., Order → Shipping Status).
The newly created template will now be available in the template dropdown for use.
