Receive + Prep

The Receive + Prep feature streamlines the workflow by combining the receiving and preparation (prep) stages into a single process. This guide outlines the steps you should follow to utilize this integrated functionality effectively.

User Steps

1. Start the Receiving Process: Begin by initiating the receiving process for incoming inventory as per usual practice.

2. Option to Prep During Receiving: Upon receiving items, you will be presented with the option to perform prep tasks. This includes inspection, labeling, bundling, or any other preparation activities required for the items.

3. Perform Prep Tasks: Execute the necessary prep tasks for each item. This may involve printing FNSKU labels, bundling items together, or any other specific prep requirements.

4. Confirm Prep Completion: Once all prep tasks are completed for the received items, confirm the completion of prep. This confirmation is essential to ensure that items are ready for the next stage in the workflow, whether it be storage or immediate packing for shipment.

5. Proceed to Next Steps: After confirming the prep completion, proceed with the next steps in your workflow, such as moving items to storage or directly to the packing area if they are ready for shipment.
