Marking a Product as Damaged

We’ve streamlined the process of marking products as damaged, integrating it directly into the item-level workflow. Here’s the step-by-step guide for this process:

  1. Scan the Product
Begin by scanning the product you’re working on. This applies whether you are processing single or multiple items with different configurations such as Serial Number, Lot ID, or Pallet ID.

  2. Select the Item
Ensure you have properly selected the correct item based on its configuration. This is important when handling multiple items with varying identifiers.

  3. Change Condition to 'Damaged'
Once the correct item is selected, change the item’s condition to Damaged.

  4. Add Images
After marking the item as damaged, a camera icon will appear, allowing you to add up to 2 images:

    • You can either upload existing images or capture new ones using your device’s camera.

  5. Enter Damaged Quantity
In the quantity field, enter the number of items that are damaged. This will reflect how many units from the selected item are being marked as damaged.

  6. Confirm
Once all details (condition, images, quantity) are entered, confirm the update. The system will automatically adjust the damaged quantity.

  7. View Damage Details
After confirmation, the damaged information will be visible on the Consignment Screen under the Received Quantity section, along with all the details (images, damaged quantity, etc.).

What’s Changed?

Previously, marking items as damaged was handled through a separate damaged flow. Now, it’s integrated directly into the item-level receiving flow, making it more efficient and easier to manage.
