Manually updating shipping information
We're excited to announce a new feature on the Hopstack platform that allows users to modify shipping details even after an order has been created. This enhancement aligns with our commitment to provide flexibility and convenience to our users. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to utilize this feature.
1. Accessing the Shipping Details Page
To begin, navigate to the new page dedicated to changing shipping details. This can be found under the ‘Orders Management’ screen.
Navigate to the order in the Order Management screen
Click on the three dots Action menu against that order
Click on Update Shipping Info

2. Modifying Order Details
Once you are on the shipping details page, you will find several options to modify your order. Depending on the shipment type, the available options might be different. Here’s a breakdown of all of them:
Shipment Type Selection: Depending on the size and nature of your order, you can select the appropriate shipment type. The available options include:
Small Parcel: Suitable for smaller items or orders.
LTL/FTL: Ideal for shipments that may require a full truck, usually multi-pallet shipments.
If the shipment type is a Small Parcel, then these are the available options:
Tracking Number - Update the tracking number received from shipping carrier
Name of the Shipping Carrier
Tracking URL - The tracking link given by the shipping carrier
Shipping Label - Ability to upload shipping labels for this order. There are three ways to do this:
Upload a PDF/JPG file to Hopstack
Paste a public URL to the file (Dropbox link, public Google Drive link, AWS bucket link, etc.)
System Generated - Hopstack will generate the shipping label based on a pre-defined generic format.

If the shipment type is an LTL/FTL, then these are the available options:
Pro Number
Name of the Shipping Carrier/Transport Provider
Tracking URL (optional) - The tracking link given by the shipping carrier
Shipping Label - Ability to upload shipping labels for this order. There are three ways to do this:
Upload a PDF/JPG file to Hopstack
Paste a public URL to the file (Dropbox link, public Google Drive link, AWS bucket link, etc.)
System Generated - Hopstack will generate the shipping label based on a pre-defined generic format.
Bill of Lading (BOL): The Bill of Lading is a crucial document in shipping, especially for pallet-based truck shipments. Under these fields, you can:
Upload the BOL into the Hopstack through one of two ways:
Upload a PDF/JPG file to Hopstack
Paste a public URL to the file (Dropbox link, public Google Drive link, AWS bucket link, etc.)
Enter/edit the BOL number.

3. Saving Changes
After making all necessary modifications, ensure you save the changes by clicking on Submit.
Always double-check the details you've entered to avoid any discrepancies or issues in the shipping process.
