Editing an order
In this guide, you'll learn how to edit orders in the unprocessed, exception, or draft state on our platform.
Prerequisites:
You must have an account with necessary permissions to make changes.
The order source should be 'HOPSTACK' for it to be editable.
The order can only be edited if its Unprocessed or in Exception

Steps to Edit Orders:
Access the Orders Panel:
Navigate to the 'Orders' section on your dashboard. Here, you'll find a list of all the existing orders.
Select an Order:
Choose the order you want to edit.
Edit Order Details:
Once the order is selected, you can proceed to edit the order details. The fields available for editing will depend on the order's state and other specific attributes. However, the order customer cannot be changed.
Please remember you can’t edit :
- Client associated with Order while you were creating
- Order ID you added or generated while creating
Review and Save Changes:
After making the necessary changes, always review your edits for accuracy and completeness. Then, click on the 'Save Changes' button to finalize your edits.
Please Note:
An audit log is created when unprocessed or exception orders are changed. This log will include user details for transparency and traceability.
When an order in an 'exception' state is modified, the system will move it back to 'unprocessed' and treat it as a fresh order.
