Creating a user for your clients and giving them access
This guide is only applicable to those users who have admin-level privileges OR read & write access to the User Management screen.
This guide is about creating users and giving controlled access of your Hopstack platform to your clients.
Login to the Hopstack platform using the URL provided to you with your credentials.
Navigate to the User Management module within the Setup section in the left navigation menu.
Click on the "Add User" button to create a new user.
Click on the "Select Role" drop-down menu and choose CLIENT or any equivalent role created for your instance. If there is any confusion, please reach out to Hopstack support.
If the CLIENT role (or any equivalent) does not exist in the system, please follow the guidelines linked here to create the necessary user roles. Once you create the role, it will show up in this dropdown, and you can choose to create users with that permission scheme.
Click on the "Name" field to enter the name of the user. This can be the name of the merchant's business or the actual name of the merchant. We recommend typing the name that is easier for you and your team to refer to.
Click on the "Email" field to enter the email address of the client.
Click on the "Select Warehouse" dropdown menu to select the desired warehouse(s) from the list of available warehouses. You can select multiple warehouses based on your requirement.
Click on the "Select Clients" dropdown menu to select the desired client(s) from the list of available clients. This should be the name of the client that you have configured in Client Management. Read this guide in case you haven’t done this yet and then perform the steps in this guide again.
You can also add multiple clients here in case the same user account has multiple merchant operations running with your business.
Click on the "Submit" button after reviewing the details.
A new client user has been added successfully with the specified details and access controls.
