Audit Trail for Outbound Orders
An audit trail is a chronological record, providing documentary evidence of sequences of activities that have affected at any time a specific operation, procedure, or event. In the context of the Hopstack platform for Amazon FBA shipment plans, an audit trail ensures transparency, accountability, and traceability. By tracking every single action taken, it helps users, especially businesses, understand the journey of a specific operation, which in this case is a shipment plan. This not only aids in pinpointing potential issues or bottlenecks but also provides clarity and assurance that operations are proceeding as they should.
How to Access the Audit Trail:
Navigate to the Order Management section.
Locate the specific order for which you want to view the audit trail.
Click on the action menu (usually represented by three dots or an icon indicating more options) against the chosen order.
From the dropdown, click on "Audit Trail."

General Overview:
Upon accessing the audit trail, users will be presented with a structured visual record. Each record showcases:
The status of the operation.
Associated details like user information or specific changes.
The date and time when that specific action or status change took place.
Specific Descriptions of Each Status (last updated on 26th October 2023):
UNPROCESSED: Represents that the batched items are awaiting further actions. No processes have been started yet for the shipment.
BATCHED: This status indicates that the items for the shipment have been grouped or batched together. It can be interpreted as the initiation of a shipment plan.
PICKING_STARTED: This marks the beginning of the picking process. Items are being picked from their respective storage locations and readied for shipping. The SKU associated with the items being picked is also displayed for clarity.
PICKING_COMPLETED: Once all items have been successfully picked, the status is updated to reflect this completion.
PREPPING_STARTED: With all items picked, they now move to the prepping phase. This is where items are prepped for FBA shipment, and any other actions (bundling, packing, whiting out the UPC, applying the FNSKU label, etc.) are performed before packing.
PREPPING_COMPLETED: This status shows that the preparation phase has concluded and all items are ready to be packed.
PACKING_STARTED: At this phase, all the prepared items are being packed securely for shipment. The user performing the packing is also mentioned.
CARRIER_INFORMATION_UPDATED: This is an important status. It reflects any updates or changes made to the carrier details. This will appear when the partnered or non-partnered carrier is chosen by the packer and a request to purchase shipping is initiated.
FBA_TRANSPORT_ESTIMATED: This status indicates that an estimation for the transport of the FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) shipment has been made through Amazon-partnered carriers. This typically includes an estimate of the delivery date, costs associated with the transport, and any other logistical considerations.
FBA_TRANSPORT_DETAILS_ADDED: For FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) shipments, this status indicates that the necessary transport details, as required by Amazon, have been inputted and the relevant information has been updated to Amazon over the integration.
FBA_TRANSPORT_CONFIRMED: This status confirms that the transport details for the FBA shipment have been finalized and accepted. The transportation mode, route, and other critical details have been established and confirmed.
FBA_TRANSPORT_VOIDED: This status signals that the previously confirmed transport details for the FBA shipment have been voided or canceled. This could be due to a variety of reasons, such as issues with the transportation provider, changes in logistics, or decisions made by the seller. This status is also triggered when the packer clicks on “Restart Packing” after the labels have been generated.
PACKING_COMPLETED: This status confirms that all items have been securely packed and are ready for dispatch.
COMPLETED: This is the final status in the audit trail, signifying that all necessary actions and processes for the shipment plan have been successfully carried out.
