Dear Customer,
This email includes a significant update for the Hopstack Platform about processing the order which is designed to improve workflow efficiency and management of inventory discrepancies.
We have also included relevant support materials to help you navigate the new changes to the platform. Please click the Support Resources hyperlink under the relevant topic headers to open the support materials.
Unfulfillable Orders Handling:
Earlier, any order that could not be fulfilled due to insufficient inventory was marked as an EXCEPTION order. This process has now been optimized.
Now, any order with insufficient inventory will remain in the "UNPROCESSED" status. When a user attempts to batch these orders, they will be clearly marked as "unfulfillable" due to inventory issues.
Exception Status Adjustment:
Orders will only be moved to the "Exceptions" status if they lack specific product details or SKUs. This refinement ensures that only orders with missing essential information are flagged for further review.
Batching of Orders:
UNPROCESSED orders can still be batched as usual
EXCEPTION orders, like before, will require the exception to be resolved before they can be batched.
Implementation of Changes:
This update aims to streamline our order management process & ensure that orders are marked as EXCEPTION only in extreme cases like missing SKUs.
We also aim to make orders with insufficient inventory easier to identify and manage, reducing the time spent resolving these issues.

This update is effective immediately, and we believe it will significantly contribute to a more efficient and manageable order fulfillment system.
