Improvements to Product Attributes
The Hopstack platform now supports the capture of item weight, dimensions, and perishability while creating products.
This allows centralized tracking of product attributes and lends greater granularity for operations such as dimensioning analysis, weight tracking, and better enforcement of special workflows such as FIFO/LIFO/FEFO.
Ability to Deactivate Products
Instead of deleting products from the platform, warehouse managers and admins have the ability to deactivate products.
This ensures that historic data integrity is retained while keeping fresh product information at the forefront for upcoming transactions.
Receiving Workflow for Perishable Items
The Hopstack platform now supports separate workflows for receiving perishable items. In this iteration, if a product is marked as perishable, warehouse operators would have to mandatorily provide an expiration date and/or batch number for all incoming products.
This will enable clients to enforce a higher level of data integrity and also better enforce special inventory handling guidelines such as FIFO/LIFO/FEFO
Ability to Deactivate Tenants/Clients
Instead of deleting tenants from the platform, warehouse managers and admins now have the ability to deactivate their accounts.
This ensures that users are unable to access their accounts (if deemed necessary by the warehouse managers) but their product, order, and sales information is retained.
Ability to Deactivate Warehouses
Instead of deleting warehouses from the platform, warehouse managers and admins now have the ability to deactivate warehouses.
Added Storage Types to Warehouse Management
Warehouse managers can now specify the type of storage as Ambient or Chilled across an entire warehouse while creating and editing warehouses in the platform.
This allows for automatic and immediate bulk update of all future storage locations created for that warehouse.
Ability to Bulk Update Locations from Location Management
The platform now allows you to bulk update bin locations as specified in the Location Management module present in the Setup tab.
Separate Client Notes and Warehouse Notes during Receiving
The notes section available to customers and warehouse operators are now separated from each other.
Added Indicator for Inbound Consignments to signify notes
Inbound consignments with a customer or warehouse note will now be flagged to make the presence of a note prominently visible to all authorized users.
Added Audit Trail for Shopify Orders
The platform now has an audit trail for updates to and from Shopify. This is available now within the regular Audit Trail against an order in the Order Management screen.
Added Notifications for Every New Order
The platform will now notify the warehouse team for every new order created/fetched from marketplace integrations to ensure visibility and minimize the risk of missing orders.
